The private bathroom with shower and hairdryer was a real treat! It made getting ready in the morning so much easier. Can I just say, the room had a barbecue! We had an awesome barbecue night with the family. It felt like a real home away from home. The flat-screen TV in the room was a great addition. We could relax and watch our favorite shows after a long day of exploring. I loved how the room had a tumble dryer. It was so convenient to be able to wash and dry our clothes during our stay. The tile/marble floor in the room was a nice touch. It added a touch of elegance to the space.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the tile/marble floor. It felt a bit too cold and uncomfortable for me.

This hidden gem in a Spanish village was a delightful find. The host was incredibly helpful and welcoming, making us and our dog feel right at home. The accommodation had a beautiful Spanish charm and the owner, Martin, also impressed as an excellent chef. The location was convenient and the room was spacious and clean. We will definitely be returning to explore more of the village and enjoy another delicious meal at this wonderful accommodation.
Nothing to complain about at all.

The location of the hotel is convenient, with easy access to the motorway and a good stopping point between Portugal and France. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and sparkling clean, with access to a terrace. The bathroom is a good size with a lovely shower. The beds are very comfortable and the underfloor heating is fantastic. Guests can enjoy a delicious and well-prepared evening meal, and the breakfast includes lovely organic produce. the facilities and room advantages make for a pleasant stay.
The village itself lacks scenic beauty and there is no signage to the hotel.

I recently stayed at Vinarius, a small and intimate posada in Castellanos de Villiquera. My journey through Spain was made even better by Martin, the delightful host who communicated with me through Google Translate. The food and wine at Vinarius were excellent, and Martin's cooking skills were impressive. The inner garden was the perfect spot for a peaceful morning meditation. I highly recommend this alternative stop for lone travelers and couples. I will definitely be returning on my future travels through Spain.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

Wow, what a fantastic experience! the host was so attentive and made my New Year's stay unforgettable. Despite the language barrier, we had a hilarious time communicating through Google Translate. the location was perfect - just 10 minutes from the main motorway, making it a convenient stop from my journey from Portugal to France. the village was beautiful, and I wish I had more time to explore. the accommodation itself was charmingly Spanish, and my room was comfortable and modern. I especially loved the underfloor heating, which kept me cozy during the chilly winter nights.
Although my overall experience was amazing, there were a couple of minor downsides. there were no tea making facilities in the room;

We got amazing value for our money at this cozy and welcoming place. The room was spacious, comfy, and spotless, with a lovely private terrace for enjoying the sunset. The staff, especially Martin, went above and beyond to make us feel at home, even carrying our scared dog up the stairs and helping us repack the car.
The breakfast experience could have been improved with more variety of options.
